Many older adults with and without disabilities indicate a strong preference for remaining in their current living situation. Watch the short video Aging in Place and answer the questions below in your reflection.

• What are the pros (advantages) and cons (disadvantages) of individuals with developmental disabilities “aging in place”?
• What supports do you think would be required for people with IDD who are “aging in place” to be successful?
