This week we continue with the fourth section of this course by turning to the social, economic, and political life in Africa and the diaspora. We will explore economic, social, and political issues related to black life in Africa and the Diaspora from the 20th century through the contemporary era. It will be based primarily on sociological and anthropological sources and perspectives.
