CREATE A CONCEPT MAP

1) Use the two articles that I have attached BELOW to create a cosmological map of the United States' ideal self "America":

You might need to revisit the definition of cosmology in Invitation to World Religion and earlier lecture PowerPoints.

This cosmological map needs to include:

• The relationship of "America" with its spiritual Other
• Who is an "American"?
• How do different "Americans" fit into "America"?
• How do "Americans" relate to other nations and peoples around the world?

2) Comment on areas of this cosmology that are still present today. If some features are true for some but not others, note that too.
