Learning Goal: I'm working on a management project and need an explanation and answer to help me learn.
The purpose of the assignment is to enable students to demonstrate knowledge regarding the creation of a Quality Management Plan, its content, and its purpose. It is related to the following learning objectives:
- Describe quality management planning and how quality and scope management are related
- Discuss the importance (and differences) of quality assurance and quality control
- Understand the tools and techniques for quality control, such as the Seven Basic Tools of Quality, statistical sampling, Six Sigma, and testing
In Word, draft a project quality management plan for your project. Identify the key project deliverables that will be subject to quality review; identify the standards that will be used to evaluate the quality of project deliverables; identify the completeness and correctness criteria; describe the Quality Control and Assurance activities the project will use to ensure quality standards for project deliverables are met; and determine how often or when the quality control/assurance activities will be performed.
