Describe a situation of ethical dilemma that you have experienced in practice and how it was resolved. (Saunders, 2014) 

Following dilemma example can be used:

A patient with a current medical history of drug and alcohol abuse is admitted to the hospital. The patient has had orthopedic surgery for a knee replacement and will be inpatient for the next 3 days. The surgeon has prescribed extra strength Tylenol and IV Toradol for pain but does not want to prescribe any narcotics due to patient's abuse history. Patient is having 9/10 post-op pain after administration of PO Tylenol and IV Toradol but cannot have anything else for another 5 hours. (This scenario can be slightly modified if needed)
