2. In regards to creating a new human life a lot of things need to go right but a lot of things can go wrong. There are many many different factors that come in to play when the reproductive process begins. 1. Yes, I did know that there are different types of birth control. One type of birth control is the vaginal ring which is a small flexible ring that gets inserted into the vagina. It releases hormones into the body to prevent pregnancy. It is 94% effective. It has to be changed every 3-6 weeks. The second type of birth control is an IUD. It is a plastic T-shaped device that is placed in the uterus. It is 99% effective. They can last anywhere from 3-12 years.

2. I didn't know that the body made a mucus wall on the cervix to keep germs away. I also didn't know that progesterone and relaxin make the muscles loosen which then causes constipation and morning sickness.
