2. In regards to creating a new human life a lot of things need to go right but a lot of things can go wrong. There are many many different factors that come in to play when the reproductive process begins. Pick a stage in the reproductive cycle (or pregnancy) that is something you did not know about before today and discuss the importance of that step, or if it all just absolutely blows your mind (the female body is capable of amazing things) explain which steps seem the craziest!

1. Yes, I did know that there are different types of birth control. One type of birth control is the vaginal ring which is a small flexible ring that gets inserted into the vagina. It releases hormones into the body to prevent pregnancy. It is 94% effective. It has to be changed every 3-6 weeks. The second type of birth control is an IUD. It is a plastic T-shaped device that is placed in the uterus. It is 99% effective. They can last anywhere from 3-12 years.

2. I didn't know that the body made a mucus wall on the cervix to keep germs away. I also didn't know that progesterone and relaxin make the muscles loosen which then causes constipation and morning sickness.
