PROJECT MANAGEMENT PLAN INSTRUCTIONS
Purpose:
The Project Management Plan is an opportunity for you to demonstrate your understanding of
project management principles, how they apply to planning, and in turn effectively manage a
project from initiation to completion.
Requirements:
Using Microsoft Word, create an 8–10-page Project Management Plan for a construction, IT,
higher education, city government, or healthcare-related project that includes the following
content areas:
Project Description
Project Scope, Cost, and Objectives
Team Roles and Responsibilities
Key stakeholders for the project
Assumptions and Constraints
Communication Management Plan
Risk Management Plan
Change Management Plan
Page and Paper Format:
Submit the collection as a Microsoft Word document.
All pages must be double-spaced with 1” margins (right, left, top, bottom) and left-
justified.
Font must be 12-pt Times New Roman.
Include a table of contents page.
Running Head includes short title and pagination (use Microsoft Word header function).
Cover page is not numbered. All other pages are numbered using the standard number
format (1, 2, etc.).
Titles for each component must be centered according to current APA format.
The first line of each paragraphs must be indented .5 inches.
Submit your Project Management Plan by 11:59 p.m. (ET) on Sunday of Module/Week 4.

Consult the Project Management Plan Grading Rubric for specifics on how your instructor will
grade this assignment. Any form of plagiarism, including cutting and pasting, will result in 0
