Job Description and KSAO List Project
Job Description and KSAO List ProjectJob DescriptionFor your current job, or another in your workplace, prepare a job description, according to the model given in class. Be sure to collect information from SME’s (Subject Matter Experts – job incumbents, supervisors, engineers, etc.) and review any existing job descriptions.Your job description should include the following information:

- percentage weights for each of the dimensions that reflect their relative importance (a combination of frequency and criticality) to the job (the weights must add up to 100%).
KSAO ListUsing the job description that you developed, formulate a list of essential KSAO’s (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics) required for successful performance of all job dimensions. Be sure to consult SME’s and review any existing information about performance requirements. Also, for each KSAO, indicate whether job applicants must possess the requirement upon being selected/promoted (S for “selectable”) or whether they will receive appropriate job training (T for “training”) after selection/promotion.Place an (S) or (T) as appropriate after each KSAO.Your KSAO list should include the following information:

- required areas of knowledge, along with (S) or (T) designations,
