Example:

Weak: How do political views influence corporate social responsibility?

Better: How do CEO political ideologies influence the type of corporate social responsibility initiative within a company?

Remember that research questions must be specific and suggest paths for additional research. Avoid starting questions with why, subjective questions, broad questions, simple questions, and solution focused questions.

• What data will the group need to thoroughly answer the research question. Least at least 4 pieces of information that will be needed to fully investigate the research question.
• What are keywords/terms the group will use when searching the web, databases, etc.? List at least 5 keywords/terms.
• How will the group break-up the research and writing? Who will do what? Outline task due dates and meeting times?
• How will the group finalize the paper? How will make sure everyone's writing is in the same style, tense, make edits, add transitions, etc.?
