You are asked to conduct a research paper on a topic of your choice related to the international entertainment marketplace (movies, TV series, music, sports, video games etc.) For example, topics can be a specific piece of entertainment (feature-length motion pictures, TV series, sport events, video games, etc.) or entertainment entities operating internationally (media conglomerates, TV channels, independents, etc.) or a case study in the entertainment marketplace of your choice.
Please note that it cannot be the analysis of the media landscape of a specific country, as this was the topic of the midterm exam. The goal of the research is to connect these projects to the readings and lectures, by identifying their economic dimensions, or their cultural or political ones.
In your paper, please provide: 1) a brief historical background 2) describe and analyze your topic 3) discuss how it relates to the issues discussed in class and/or the readings in the syllabus. The course topic review is attached as pdf, including the related issues discussed in class.

I think it would be nice to include the pandemic effect on this game after covid-19 since it is location-based and requires physical engagement. In terms of the course related issues, I hope you analysis the domestic and global impact of this video game and why is it an international entertainment piece. I don't know if that's a case in other counties as well. You can talk about the local policy regulation and culture effect of the game in terms of the international marketplace.
