I'm working on a english writing question and need an explanation and answer to help me learn.

1. One of the basic human impulses is to defend yourself. What if you were on a jury and the defendant did not take the stand, would you view that as a partial admission of guilt? Would this be fair?

2. The trial of the defendants who are accused (now convicted) of killing Ahmaud Arbery ran with a jury of 16 people, only one of whom is not white (Black) in a county where the population is 26% Black, the defendants are White, and the victim was Black. Form an argument that this jury composition either is Constitutional and upholds due process or is not.
For your reference, I include a link to recent coverage: The nearly all-White jury to hear Ahmaud Arbery case harkens back to Jim Crow era – CNN
