The two Grand Canyon University (GCU) library databases for the capstone change proposal project are the Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature (CINAHL) and the Cochrane Library. Each of these databases will assist in finding the most recent research literature. The first database is the CINAHL, which provides access to nursing and allied health publications. CINAHL is an ultimate research tool to search over 4,000 journal titles. A primary interest is the credible evidence-based practice sheets and instruments for nursing research (Grand Canyon University, 2022).

The second database to be utilized is the Cochrane Library, which comprises six databases containing different types of high-end, independent, evidence-based informed decision-making for health care. A seventh database is included for information on high-quality collaborative materials within Cochrane groups. The Cochrane Library offers sources of evidence, citations, volumes, issues, peer-reviewed publications, and abstracts within the database (Cochrane Library, 2022).

GCU provides a wealth of information within the online library system. Databases are well-organized and allow for searches on topics using subject, keywords, title, author, or short phrases. A majority of the databases housed by the GCU library are full-text publications. A google scholar or general internet search does not provide sufficient data for a capstone change project. The time consumption to go through non-scholarly unvetted publications is a waste of time for a capstone project. It is most beneficial for the student to utilize the GCU library. References:
